Just after sunrise, an SP eastbound negotiates the multiple reverse curves at Bealville's west end and heads into the Allard Horseshoe.
SP 7521 sits on a westbound at Sand Cut waiting for a meet. Us boys from Canada on our first trip to California were impressed by the orange grove next to the track.
As the head end of SP 7521 rounds the western leg of the Allard Horseshoe, its mid-train helper exits tunnel 2 in the distance.
